The Posada de Chóvar is a historical 19th century house, that has been totally restored, retaining original architectual elements whilst incorporating modern comforts to ensure a calm and pleasant stay.

The result is a rural house classed as a “casa de pueblo” (village house), cosy, spacious and comfortable, perfect to enjoy a few days retreat surrounded by the spectacular landscapes that form the Nature Reserve of the Sierra de Espadán.

The house stands in the historical centre of Chóvar, a picturesque village in the region of the Alto Paláncia (Castellón). Originally a Moorish settlement, it has less than 400 inhabitants. It is a haven of tranquility that allows one to delight in its landscapes and sights. Its strategic situation, at 20 kilometers from the sea and at 410 meters of height, makes this small village the ideal place to relax and enjoy nature within easy reach of the coast.
